A new feature selection method for handling redundant information in text classification None

You-wei WANG, Li-zhou FENG

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2018, Volume 19, Issue 2,   Pages 221-234 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1601761

Abstract: Because of the difficulty in handling the problem that the selected features always contain redundantinformation, we propose a new simple feature selection method, which can effectively filter the redundantfeatures. Finally, to improve the execution speed, the redundant features in FS1 are filtered by combining a predeterminedthreshold, and the filtered features are memorized in the linked lists.

Strategic Study of CAE 2002, Volume 4, Issue 11,   Pages 7-11

Abstract:

As a complex weapon system integrated with optical/mechanical/hydraulic technology, main battle tank (MBT) has powerful fire, high mobility and integrated protection. This paper described the status of MBT in the war and its performance characteristics. On the basis of analysis of existing problems and development tendency of current MBT, the author put forward that in order to meet the operational requirements of the future high-technology war the next generation MBT should be low-profiled, light, digital and stealthy.

The clinicopathologic features of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms of the pancreas

QIN Xinyu, LIU Fenglin

Frontiers of Medicine 2007, Volume 1, Issue 2,   Pages 121-125 doi: 10.1007/s11684-007-0023-5

Abstract: Since first described in 1982, intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) has been the preferred term to describe the proliferation of the pancreatic ductal epithelium. It is totally different from pancreatic carcinoma in epi demiology, histology, pathology and prognosis. According to the site of involvement, IPMNs are classified into three categories, i.e. main duct type, branch duct type, and combined type. Most branch duct IPMNs are benign, whereas the other two types are often malignant. A large branch duct IPMN and marked dilation of the main pancreatic duct indicate the presence of adenoma at least. The additional existence of large mural nodules increases the possibility of malignancy in all types. The prognosis is more favorable after complete resection of benign and non-invasive malignant IPMNs. Malignant IPMNs that become more aggressive after parenchymal invasion necessitate adequate lymph node dissection. On the other hand, asymptomatic branch duct IPMNs without mural nodules can be observed without the need for resection for a considerable period of time. Our review addresses available data, current understanding, controversy, and future directions about IPMNs.

Accounting for local features of fouling formation on PHE heat transfer surface

Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2018, Volume 12, Issue 4,   Pages 619-629 doi: 10.1007/s11705-018-1736-5

Abstract: The fouling phenomena can create significant operational problems in the industry by deteriorating heat recuperation, especially in heat exchangers with enhanced heat transfer. For a correct prediction of fouling development, the reliable fouling models must be used. The analysis of existing fouling models is presented. The chemical reaction and transport model developed earlier for a description of fouling on intensified heat transfer surfaces is used for modeling of plate heat exchanger (PHE) subjected to fouling. The mathematical model consists of a system of differential and algebraic equations. The integration of it is performed by finite difference method with developed software for personal computer. For countercurrent streams arrangement in PHE the solution of two-point boundary problem is realized on every time step. It enables to estimate local parameters of heat transfer process with fouling formation and its development in time with the growth of deposited fouling layer. Two examples of model application in cases of PHEs working at sugar factory and in district heating network are presented. The comparison with experimental data confirmed the model validity and the possibility of its application to determine the performance of PHE subjected to fouling.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 11,   Pages 1620-1630 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2100495

Abstract:

(EL) is a fundamental task in natural language processing. Based on neural networks, existing systems pay more attention to the construction of the , but ignore latent semantic information in the and the acquisition of effective information. In this paper, we propose two , in which the first adaptive feature enables the local and s to capture latent information, and the second adaptive feature describes effective information for embeddings. These can work together naturally to handle some uncertain information for EL. Experimental results demonstrate that our EL system achieves the best performance on the AIDA-B and MSNBC datasets, and the best average performance on out-domain datasets. These results indicate that the proposed , which are based on their own diverse contexts, can capture information that is conducive for EL.
